Since its founding FedSys has been a leader in the provision of language services to the federal government. Fedsys currently provides support in both high and low density languages that include Amharic, Arabic, Berber, Danish, Dari, Dhivehi, Farsi (Persian), Finnish, French, German, Hausa, Hindi, Indonesian-Malaysian, Korean, Kurdish, Mandarin Chinese, North African French, Norwegian, Pashto, Punjabi, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Sudanese, Swahili, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu, Uyghur, Uzbek. The FedSys language division provides complete language management solutions including the recruitment, vetting, deployment and evaluation of linguists. In addition to being linguists many FedSys personnel also have expertise with other areas that include cultural, economic, and political subject matters. To ensure the ability to provide continuous support to our customers, FedSys maintains a linguist recruitment network designed to quickly identify, vet and deploy linguists who are capable of meeting the government's requirements.
FedSys language infrastructure was created specifically to identify, vet, deploy and manage linguists that are engaged in supporting government efforts. This infrastructure begins with a recruitment network that is regionally located and familiar with concentration areas of high linguistic talent. In addition to being able to identify needed linguists FedSys personnel understand how to verify candidate abilities, through the use of independent testing, background investigations and clearance processing, through a system designed to ensure the rapid deployment of linguists to areas of operational need.
Language Analysts, Linguists and Translators
FedSys is currently seeking experienced and effective linguists to use their experience and skills to provide monitoring, translation, transcription and interpretation services to the US Government in a wide variety of locations and capacities. Required skills include the ability to read, write and comprehend target language and English with native or near native proficiency.
